talkies moutaineering club or tmc. the interesting name always ask by other climbers we have met at the peak "bakit tmc? ano yun acronyms?" . there a lot of groups name suggestion before tmc comes up, night trekkers (because usually the group climb at night) and the other i cant remember (tagal na kasi eh hehehe). if not mistaken it is jessie corpuz suggest the name tmc or talkies mountaineering club because of the following reason. first, climb for the 12 participants i think its only 8 attend the actual climb, second a lot of climb schedule for the year (12-16 climbs if not mistaken) but only 6 mountains conquer (^_^) and last for the 16 participants for a climb only 2 or 3 attend the actual climb. hehehe. (kaya daw talkies kasi oo lng ng oo tapos d rin aattend hehehe peace!!!) but still talkies survive and now recognized by big mountaineering organization such as FIMO filipino mountaineers inc. and pinomountaineers.com (metromanila/ncr)
